Hey Sheri (Lynn) if you go to http://support.wordpress.com/addthis/ it will give you step by step instructions but the gist of it is this. 1. go to addthis site. 2. join(it’s free) 3. click “Get a button” 4. it will ask you which site you want, choose wordpress. 5. pick your button. 6. get code(there is three sets of code, pick the last box)7. copy code. 8. go to edit a post on your site. 9. go to the html version. 10. click the post on where you want the code. 11. hit paste. 12. you are all set. I hope that is what you were looking for. Let me know if it works out or if that was what you were looking for.

  14. Eric Richardville Said:

Now for the digg button. http://support.wordpress.com/digg/ should take you through a step by step instruction guide. THE ONLY THING THAT YOU NEED TO DO DIFFERENT IS after you have joined, posted, added to digg you need to copy a url. When you click on the “I digg” button there will be a url. Copy that url. It will look like http://digg.com/comedy (or whatever category you chose)then/and the name of your story with a / at the end. Copy this code, go to the post you dugg, edit it, go to html view (this is at the top right hand corner of your post in edit mode) paste the code. You are almost there. Then you need to add the short code [digg=] to the code, this is how. The [digg= goes in front of the code, for example, [digg=http://and so on. The ] goes at the end of the url, for example, your story/] You should be all set after this. The button will not show up in the edit mode. Just click the “update post” button and when you go to your site it will be there. The button goes either in the top or the bottom of the post, wherever you put the code. If you have a picture it will, in html view, have a bunch of code. Ignore that and just add the code like I showed you after that code if you want it on the top. If not just add the code at the end of your story, that will put it at the bottom. I hope this helped. Let me know.

Hi Lynn, just stopped on over to check out your site after reading Gzusfreek’s post on you :)

  16. Hi Sheri: I was just on Janet Grant’s Twitter page and saw she is following you and that you live in Phoenix. Janet is my agent and I assume yours as well? Your genre looks interesting. I’m a non-fiction writer in the area of spiritual formation. Glad to see you have a writer’s group. I wasn’t aware there was one in that area. I would say that I might join you one of these days but I live at the other end of the Valley in Ahwatukee. I do work at 24th St and Lincoln area. Maybe we can connect one of these days.

All the best. Your blog is beautiful. I’m just getting started there.
    I’m on Twitter @mkcrockett.

  17. I’m an aspiring writer. I hope I can follow your blog. :)
