Superpowers? Good one, God. That’s funny.

***

Shelby hates God, but when He gives her supernatural powers to protect the people of her town from demons, she must decide once and for all whom she serves.

Quick Summary:

Demons, known as Azazels, stalk a sleepy city attacking the innocent. No one suspects the dark secrets behind the mysterious deaths.

There is one who can stop them – the Protector – but lost to a world of drugs and alcohol after her father’s untimely death, eighteen-year-old Shelby Daniels is oblivious to her calling and her powers.

After a mysterious stranger waltzes into her life and saves her from two demon attacks, Shelby embraces her supernatural gifts. As she grows into the roll of Protector, romantic feelings for Gabe, hidden deep within her, awaken.

But Shelby’s newfound faith is threatened when an Azazel brutally murders someone close to her.

I can attest to the statement – “adults get a kick out of reading my work as well”. I thoroughly enjoyed Light of Truth and can’t wait to read the follow-up. Can I please get a draft copy to read?! I know you’re still editing but I have no doubt it’s going to be good!

This sounds very cool. I love all angels and demon books. I assume you’ve read Frank Peretti’s This Present Darkness and Piercing the Darkness. Have you heard of Demon: a memoir by Tusca Lee? I am in the middle of that one right now. It’s kind of like a Christian Interview with the Vampire.

Oh yeah, Frank Peretti’s This Present Darkness and Piercing the Darkness are two of my favorite books. I saw they were yours as well! I’ll have to check out Demon: A memoir by Tusca Lee. Let me know how it is when you’re done, ok?

Thanks, Vicki! I’m having fun writing it. We’ll see if God takes it anywhere:-)

I found you on Facebook, and it sounded like you write books that are right up my ally! After reading the first two chapters of Light of Truth, I’m extremely excited about it! I haven’t been able to find you on Amazon, or BN.com and Google brought me here. I’m a book reviewer for an online review site, Kwips and Kritiques. Please keep me in mind if there’s anything I can do for you. Best of luck in all your endeavors. It’s wonderful to see more edgy fiction like this that has God’s hand all over it. :)

Terri, you are so sweet! I am unpublished as of yet…working on that aspect. I will remember you when/if I do make it to publication.
